 Weekly Report from 07/11/2022 to 11/11/2022

Day 4: November 7, 2022

The first day of the second week in Govt. VHSS Thattamala. We entered the school on regular time and signed the attendance register. We went to the place allocated to us and waited for the morning assembly to begin at 9:15 am, the students fall in the ground. As it was Monday, the assembly was conducted by the students of high school. Today I got my first class in 9D during 2nd period. I was assigned to teach physics in that class. I taught the 4th chapter of Physics, Gravitation. We discussed about the factors influencing gravitational force. After that we waited for the scheduling of substitution periods. During the lunch break, we served the midday meal to the students. After lunch I got a substitution period in 8B. We left the school at 3.45 pm.


DAY 5: November 8, 2022

On Tuesday as per the timing we reached the school before 9 am and signed the register. As there was a special program in the assembly, all the students fall in the ground in 9:15 am. It was the inaugural day of issuing Malayala Manorama publications in the school. Several guests were also present and they advised the students about the importance of reading newspapers daily. A GK Quiz was also announced in the assembly by the HM Thankachy ma'am  and the winners would get exciting rewards. After that I had my second class in 8A during the 2nd period. We discussed about more characteristics of metals. After lunch I got a substitution period  in 8D during 6th period. We left the school at 3.45 pm. 



DAY 6: November 9, 2022

On Wednesday as usual we reached the school around 9 am and signed the register. As there was assembly yesterday, there was only a morning prayer. We waited in the place allotted to us for the substitution periods. As there was a counseling session for students of 10th standard, we got some classes to engage students in various activities. In the noon, we served the midday meal to the students. I got my class in the afternoon. In 5th period I went to class 8E and taught them about earth as a magnet. We discussed about the process of magnetisation. We left the school at 3.45 pm.


DAY 7: November 10, 2022

On Thursday I reached the school at 9:20 am and signed the attendance register. The classes begun with a short but sweet prayer at 9:30 am.  As there was IT exams of 9th standard students going on, we got many substitution classes to engage students. In afternoon we served mid day meals to the students. During the 5th period I got my second class in 8E. There I taught about properties of magnet. We left the school at 3.45 pm.


DAY 8: November 11, 2022


On Friday I reached the school at 9.15 am as usual. After singing the attendance register I participated in the morning assembly. Students were amazing in the presentation. After that we collected details of the substitution classes. During lunch break we served mid day meals to the students. During the 5th period I got a class in 8A were I taught about electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity. The class went smoothly. I left the school at 3.45 pm.

  LAST WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE  DAY 40 - FEBRUARY 13, 2023 Today is the last day of teaching practice. With the lots of hope I reached the school around 9:10 a.m. and the signed as a attendance register. After I participated in the morning assembly conducted by high school students. During third period I went to 8:00 a to teach chemistry. I was so happy to see my children and indirect with them they same the very happy to see me and it was the end of the class we felt really sad. I gave some sweets to them and return from their class. After lunch break during the 6th period I went to 8Eto distribute the achievement test paper. I gave presents to the toppers. I gave some sweets to all students and we share a lot of memory. After that we went to meet with the other teachers and principal to tan them we also distributed the price to the winners of the quiz competition. Around 3:50 p.m. I left to the school with a lots of memory in my heart.

FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE

  FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE  DAY 18 10-07-2023, MONDAY  It was a person morning and they reached the school around 9:15 a.m.. there was an assembly for high school students. It was General Assembly. Today I had to teach in 8 b due to some changes in the time. I taught them the topic 'fractional distillation '. I also got some substitution classes. Around 3.50 pm I left the school. DAY 19 11-07-2023, TUESDAY   I reached the school around 9:20 a.m. and signed the attendance register. There was an Arabic quiz competition during afternoon. During 6th period I had a class in 9C. Today I conducted achievement test in the class during 6th period on the chapter forces on fluid. I got an extra Period there in the 7th periods so I talked that in that period. I thought them about graph and its uses. As it was a new concept for them I gave basic information about graphs and uses. Around 3:50 p.m. I left to the school. DAY 20 12-07-2023, WEDNESDAY   It was the 20th day...

SECOND WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE   DAY 6 19-06-2023, MONDAY  After 2 days of week I return to the School refreshly. After signing the attendance register I joined the other teachers for the morning assembly conducted by high school students. Today is the 'national reading day'. During the Assembly the school authorities conveyed the importance of reading to the students. A teacher explain in detail about the importance of reading and the role of PN Panicker who was recognised as the father of library moments in the state of Kerala. Also in the Assembly the principle distributed books to the students. In the fifth period I had a class in 9C . Today we discussed about a new topic relative density. The class went according to the lesson template. I prepared a normal lesson plan for this class. Also I got some substitution periods.
